Licence

A paid licence lets the named researcher (Researcher plan) or the stated number of researchers (Team and Institution plans) use CaribScribe on their own computers, phones and tablets. A licence includes new versions released before its “updates until” date and continues to work for those versions afterwards.

Your data

You own your recordings, transcripts and other data. You are responsible for obtaining consent and ethics approval, keeping your passphrase safe, and backing up your data. Lost passphrases cannot be recovered.

Accuracy

Transcripts, speaker labels and translations are generated automatically and may contain errors. Check them before relying on them.

Third-party components

CaribScribe includes open-source software and AI models under their own licences, listed on the credits page.
